Chinese car buyers expect top class service
Chinese consumers are increasingly paying attention to customer service as well as the product when buying cars.
They are dissatisfied with costs and facilities but happy with the politeness of sales staff, according to a survey by Ipsos Auto and autohome.com.cn.
The study found buyers have above-average satisfaction with after-sales services of luxury cars, but below-average satisfaction with domestic brands.
Japanese cars have a higher degree of satisfaction over after-sales service than German and American vehicles, according to the survey that was based on more than 12,000 customers.
Factors including regions and cities were taken into account with Chinese buyers in first-tier cities and northeast regions more satisfied with customer service than those from the northwest and lower-tier cities.
