President ZHANG Yujing visited the Embassy of India in Beijing and held talks with the new Ambassador
On March 22, 2016, CCCME President ZHANG Yujing was invited to visit the Embassy of India in Beijing to meet with the new Ambassador H.E.Mr. Vijay Gokhale.
H.E.Ambassador warmly welcomed President ZHANG’s visit. He said that the Indian Embassy in Beijing and CCCME have maintained close cooperation. The infrastructure construction market in Indian has great potential, which means Chinese enterprises in this field enjoying many opportunities. He suggested that Chinese enterprises output technology to India while make contributions to the local employment when investing in India. He also suggested the Embassy and CCCME establish the working mechanism, carry out regular meetings and exchange economic and trade cooperation information.
President ZHANG appreciated H.E.’s invitation. He said that as the largest chamber of commerce in machinery and electronics field, CCCME has nearly ten thousand member companies covering leading manufacturers in mechanical and electrical industry. CCCME member companies TBEA, FOTON, SANY, and etc. have already set up industrial parks in India. In addition, CCCME members in photovoltaic, power, communications and infrastructure fields are making great contribution to the bilateral cooperation. CCCME is committed to promote Sino-India cooperation in trade and investment to reach the mutually beneficial win-win situation. He wished to build up platform for both countries to exchange information and cooperate with each other through the joint effort of CCCME and the Embassy, also to effectively solve problems encountered by companies when doing business in both countries.
The India Embassy in China extended willingness to support CCCME on organizing delegation to India, and will facilitate visas process and B2B matching.
