On the afternoon of May 17th, 2016, Vice Premier of State Council Mr. WANG Yang met with Russian President of China-Russia Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products, Mr. Vekselberg in Tower of Violet Light in Zhongnanhai. WANG Yang said, national leaders of China and Russia attached great importance of bilateral trade and economic relations, and he suggested that China Russia Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products act as the bridge to promote the high quality growth of bilateral import and export of machinery and electronic products. Faced with the tough condition of slumped economy and declining international cooperation, the bilateral trade climbed up against the unfavorable market this year. The bilateral trade for machinery and electronic products grew up vigorously. WANG Yang asked all the presented departments to fully support China-Russia Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products. Vice Minister of MOFCOM, Mr. ZHONG Shan, officials from MFA, MOST, Russian Ambassador in China, Directors from Department of Eurasian Affairs of both MOFCOM and MFA attended the meeting. In the meeting, both Chinese President ZHANG Yujing and Russian President Mr. Vekselberg submitted report of China-Russia Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products to Vice Premier WANG Yang.
