From August 24 to 26 2016, upon the invitation of CCCME, over 20 foreign diplomats from 18 countries including CICA member states joined in a visit to City of Yantai, Shandong Province. The visiting event was organized by CCCME, operated by Yantai Municipal Government and Yantai Jereh Oilfield Services Group Co., Ltd., and greatly supported by Department of European-Central Asian Affairs of Ministry of Foreign Affairs. CCCME President Zhang Yujing, Chairman of Task Force of CICA Chinese Chairmanship Ambassador Gu Ziping, officials from Yantai Municipal Government, leaders of Jereh Group, Algerian Ambassador, Peruvian Ambassador, Ugandan Ambassador, Egyptian Minister Counselor, Ethiopian Minister Counselor and other foreign diplomats attended a series of events in Yantai. During the visit, CCCME organized the diplomats to meet with officials from Yantai Municipal Government and conducted field trip visit to Jereh Group, one of CCCME’s member. The delegation visited Jereh’s factories of petroleum, natural oil and environment protection equipment, where the International Energy Investment & Financing Cooperation Forum was also successfully held.

The diplomats believed that the visit enhanced their understanding of the competitiveness of local government and business and they would endeavor to facilitate the cooperation between their respective countries and City of Yantai, or even the whole Shandong Province. It was the 14^th member company visit by foreign diplomats that CCCME had organized, which won the praise of all parties.
