On June 16, CCCME Vice President Liu Chun attended and addressed the Bilateral & Synergistic Opportunities between Qatar and China. Counselor of Embassy of the State of Qatar in Beijing Madam Sara Sada, CEO of Doha Bank Dr. R. Seetharaman and the Secretary General of the Chinese Business Council in Qatar also attended and addressed the event. The seminar, organized by CEO of Doha Bank and supported by CCCME, attracted more than 300 attendees from about 260 Chinese businesses.

VP Liu Chun said in her speech that the practical economic and trade cooperation between China and Qatar has gradually formed a new pattern of cooperation with oil and gas cooperation as the axis, infrastructure construction as the focus and finance and investment as the new growth points. The potential of bilateral cooperation in bilateral trade, two-way investment, complete sets of projects and financial cooperation needs to be further tapped, and bilateral industrial cooperation enjoys good prospects. CCCME can strengthen cooperation with Qatar Doha Bank by providing financial support and services to the member enterprises of "Going Global", promoting investment and cooperation between Chinese enterprises in the field of green, low-carbon and sustainable development in Qatar, promoting trade growth between China and Qatar, and serving as a professional platform for enterprises of both sides to connect and communicate.
