Seminar on the Development of China-Africa Economic and Trade Cooperation Zones Successfully holds in Changsha

On June 27, 2019, the Seminar on China-Africa Economic and Trade Cooperation Zones was successfully held in Changsha, Hunan. The seminar was hosted by MOFCOM and the People's Government of Hunan Province. CCCME, the China-Africa Development Fund and the Department of Commerce of Hunan Province co-organized this event. It is an important series of business activities of the first China-Africa Economic and Trade Expo.
In the signing ceremony of this seminar, the Chinese and African sides signed 15 cooperation agreements involving investment in agricultural cooperation zones. Enterprises in the fields of automobiless, medicine, textile, engineering agricultural machinery, mines, and cross-border e-commerce are investing projects in Africa. The total project amount is 277 million US dollars. This will play a positive role in promoting China's investment in Africa and capacity cooperation, and boosting the upgrading of China-Africa economic and trade cooperation zones.
